Applications are officially open for our Workshop Assistants and Associate Instructors!

WORKSHOP ASSISTANTS
The backbone of the workshop. Assistants keep the floor safe, coordinate weapons from the armory, manage classrooms, and step onto the strip as high-caliber sparring partners for students. Requirements: SAFD Actor Combatant status (or equivalent), a fight resume, and a letter of recommendation from a CT, FD, or FM.

ASSOCIATE INSTRUCTORS
Leaders-in-the-making working toward their Certified Teacher status. Associates handle standard assistant duties but are also called on to pitch and teach introductory classes as active faculty members. Requirements: Advanced Actor Combatant status in all 8 core disciplines (or equivalent), recommendation letter, fight resume, and lesson proposals.

Application is open until AUGUST 1st

The PSCW is held on land which is part of the traditional territory of the Lenni-Lenape, called “Lenapehoking.” The Lenape People lived in harmony with one another upon this territory for thousands of years.
