Workshop
staff

THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO APPLIED!

We are currently making decisions on this year's staff, so expect to hear from us soon!

Workshop Assistants

The backbone of the workshop, Assistants make everything possible.

They ensure that all classes have weapons and equipment from the armory as needed; they post notices and run errands; they run our check-in desks and help direct students to where they need to go; and they offer quality partnering to students in classes where attendance and subject matter requires. They are often highly skilled Actor/Combatants, and may be assigned to instructors as demonstration assistants, being expected to mold their style to their assigned faculty for consistent quality of instruction.

Associate Instructors

Associate Instructors have all the same credentials and responsibilities as our Workshop Assistants, but more: they are also called on to teach foundational classes to our students.

Associate Instructors are Advanced Actor/Combatants, often already on the path to becoming Certified Teachers in their own right, and already possess significant performance, choreographic, and instructional experience under the supervision of professional stage combat instructors.
